All Evening Classes require the following:

• Post-dated cheque payable to "SBC" dated for first night of class

Microsoft Office 2010 and Windows 7 

Students will learn Windows 7 functions including: creating new file folders and how to organize files on a network drive and hard drive. This includes approx 10 hrs in each of the following:  Microsoft Word, Excel,and Powerpoint

Prerequisite: Confirmed keyboarding speed of 30 wpm

Medical Anatomy and Terminology 912

An intense, fast-paced study of medical word parts, anatomy, and pathological conditions as related to body systems. This class can be used as credit toward SBC full-time Medical Diploma Programs.

Tuition: $630 (GST & Books and On-Line Access Included) 
Class Times: A combination of Mondays and Wednesdays: 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m.

Accounting 411     

Debits, credits, accounting equations, journals, trial balances, bank reconciliations, petty cash and payroll. This class can be used as credit toward SBC diploma programs.

Adobe Photoshop CS5

Learn the features of Photoshop. Work on resizing and importing photos and creating documents.  Also learn how to work with layers and be able to create web-ready documents using all the Adobe tools offered.

Write the Adobe Certification Exam when finished.

Introduction to Website Creation

Create a basic website, including website planning, file management, image manipulation and template creation. Investigate and discuss existing websites. Create a basic website using Dreamweaver.

Course Length: 35 hours/9 weeks

  Objectives: Plan, build and manage websites. Investigate and discuss existing websites. Using Dreamweaver create a basic website. Add RSS feed from a Blog. Basic photo manipulation using Photoshop. Create a site using other software such as Wordpress. Explore existing templates online for use.  

Simply Accounting 2012      

This course will provide an introduction into maintaining and using a General Ledger. Topics such as Accounts Payable and Receivable will be covered along with how inventory is kept, and how employees are paid in the payroll module.
