International Admissions Requirements

In order to be considered for International Admissions, you must meet the following requirements:

1. Possess at least a Grade 12 or GED 12 (minimum requirement: high school completion)

If you have completed any college/university/apprenticeships, please include that information on your application form.

2. English Language Proficiency

English is the language of instruction at Saskatoon Business College. Applicants whose first language is not English must present evidence of their English proficiency.

The following table outlines language proficiency requirements to attend Saskatoon Business College.

Other Academic English Language testing may be accepted. Speak with an Academic Advisor to discuss further.

SBC International Application Checklist

BEFORE you apply, please read the SBC International Student Application Checklist below.

Research your program of choice on the SBC website (www.sbccollege.ca/international-students).

Contact the admissions office at admissions@sbccollege.ca or by phone at 1-306-244-6333 if you have any questions.

Application Requirements

  1. Review international student admissions requirements at https://www.sbccollege.ca/international-admissions-requirements
  2. Check the International Student Tuition Fees.
  3. Complete the application at International Student Online Applications.
  4. Pay the $100 non-refundable application fee.  Click this link: Make a Payment .  Use the initial of your first name and your full last name as the invoice number. 
  5. Email scanned copies of your transcripts, biometric page of your passport, and proof of English language proficiency (if English is not your first language). Submit your documents using this email sbcregistrar@sbccollege.ca

It will take 5-10 business days to process completed applications. Processing begins after all documents and the $100 application fee have been paid.

Upon receiving your Acceptance Letter, apply for your Study Permit through Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada.

*Students are required to present original copies of all documents including a valid study permit on or before Registration Day.

Immigration, Refugees, and Citizenship Canada (IRCC) has approved SBC as a Designated Learning Institution (DLI). The college is not eligible for the Post-Graduate Work Permit Program (PGWPP). Already Completed the Checklist?

After Your Acceptance

  1. Notify SBC when your Study Permit has been approved.
  2. Payment must be made as indicated on Letter of Acceptance. See International Tuition & Fees for more information.
  3. Provide SBC with the original study permit and passport on or before registration day. SBC will make a copy and return the originals to you.
  4. You MUST attend Registration Day or your registration with SBC will be cancelled.
